We run a wide programme of activities for Children, both mid-week and on Sunday mornings.
With other special events throughout the year. All groups are run by volunteer leaders who are DBS checked and have completed safeguarding training. For more information about any of the groups please contact the team in the church office. Click here for seasonal Children events.
Sundays
We offer groups for all from 0-18, the children’s team look after the 0-11’s (find out more about secondary aged children in the youth tab). Children can be left, from any age so that you can go to the service and worship. When you join us, if you are unsure where your children should be going, please do speak to one of the welcome team, who are identified by orange t-shirts. On the first week of the month, all children will start in the service, before going to their groups. From time to time, there are also all aged service, where we gather as the whole church for the whole service. Our morning service runs from 10:30 to 12noon.
Acorn
Acorn stay-and-play is for under 5s, running termly on Thursdays between 10.15 and 11.45 am. Each session is £1 per child over 6 months. Sessions are a friendly place for parents and carers to grab a tea or coffee and meet with other parents whilst your children enjoy free-play, crafts, songs and snack.
Rooted
Friday afternoon fun during term-time. Ending the school week with lots of games, crafts and activities based around biblical themes. Sessions run from 15.15-16.30, with entry to the hall through Orchard Coffee House. Rooted also provides a friendly place for parents and carers to meet with other parents.
