Gorsley is not alone in the current challenges facing rural communities. We lead busy lives, often commuting to places of work, more frequently communicating by the phone or social media than face to face… Without knowing it our community, the services it offers and the places where we come together are lost. Whilst our annual Firework event is a well established part of the Gorsley Community year, as a church we recognise that people want community events throughout the year, along with the facilities to make these happen. We are proud to be part of the local ‘Hub Vision’ working within the area to look at meeting these needs.
