Hours: Permanent Part Time (15 hours, with possible overtime) Flexible on a rota basis (the kitchen opening hours are currently Tuesday – Saturday 9.00-3.00) Plus, availability to cover holiday for P/T Cook
Contract length: This is a permanent contract with a probationary period of three months.
Hourly Rate: depending on experience.
Overall Purpose of the role:
It’s a very exciting time for us here at Orchard Coffee House as we are looking to expand our team! We are looking for a vibrant and creative person who will be responsible for preparing fresh, local ingredients to produce and present our own cakes and light meals, just as you would at home. Day to day duties to include basic food preparation, baking, washing up and cleaning the kitchen area.
Orchard Coffee House will be serving up to 40 covers indoors with additional outdoor seating as well as offering a takeaway service. Working with the Coffee Shop Manager and the Lead Cook, you will plan how best to cater for Orchard Coffee House, having the opportunity to be creative with the menus and recipes.
